Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Project Planning & Scheduling Prepare baseline project schedules Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and detailed activity schedules Prepare short-term, weekly, and look-ahead plans in coordination with site teams Update schedules regularly based on site progress Monitor actual progress vs planned schedule Identify delays, risks, and critical path impacts Analyze schedule slippages and recommend corrective actions Track milestones and deliverables Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports Prepare S-curves, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts Support preparation of delay analysis, EOT claims, and recovery schedules Maintain planning records and logs Coordinate with site engineers, QA/QC, procurement, and subcontractors Assist in resource planning (manpower, materials, equipment) Support project manager in planning-related decisions Attend project review and coordination meetings
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering 5–10 years of UAE experience in construction project planning Good understanding of construction sequences and methodologies Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools Familiarity with contracts, EOT, and claims
Strong analytical and communication skills
