Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Summary: The role involves leading project planning, scheduling, and monitoring to ensure timely and cost-effective execution. Responsivities include developing and managing schedules, tracking progress, analyzing data, and coordinating with teams to meet project goals. The position also provides strategic input, mentors junior staff, and identifies risks or delays while proposing solutions to align objectives with organizational goals. Advanced planning expertise, analytical skills, and effective communication are essential.
1. Develop, Finalize and manage master schedules for complex and large-scale projects, ensuring integration and accuracy. 2. Conduct detailed schedule analysis, including delay impact assessments, scenario modeling, and mitigation strategies. 3. Prepare and submit all Weekly Monthly Client Reports, including Internal Management Reports 4. Identify critical path activities, potential risks, and bottlenecks, and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track. 5. adhere to planning standards and procedures, ensuring all work aligns with organizational and project-specific requirements. 6. Conduct comprehensive delay analysis to identify causes, quantify impacts, and recommend viable solutions for schedule recovery. 7. Support cost control efforts by integrating cost information into project schedules and collaborating with cost control teams to ensure alignment with budgets. 8. Manage change control processes, including updating schedules in response to project scope changes and assessing their impact on project timelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Extensive experience in project planning and scheduling, with proven expertise in using Primavera P6, ERP, MS Project, or similar software. • Certification in project planning or project management (PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent) is a plus.
Job Specific Skills: • Expertise in Primavera Programming and scheduling • Expertise in Delay Analysis and EOT Claims • Advanced expertise in MS Excel and other reporting tools. • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights. • Advanced communication and presentation skills for reporting performance and collaborating with project teams.
Experience: • Minimum 8–10 years of overall experience, including at least 3–5 years in marine construction mandatory, preferably within construction, Marine, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects. • Strong understanding of project management principles, critical path analysis, earned value management (EVM), and risk management techniques. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex data and develop actionable insights.
