Senior Planning Engineer / Planning Manager MIRAJ PROJECTS COMPANY FZE

1. Company Overview & Project Scope:

• MIRAJ Projects Company is seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join the team for an

Oil and Gas Offshore Project focusing on EPCC planning including Assets Maintenance.

• The role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and timely execution of activities.

2. Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE Mechanical preferred), or a related field, is required

for this role.

• Certification: 1- Primavera P6 Certification – Oracle, 2- Certified Planning Engineer (CPE),

etc.,

3. Experience:

• Minimum 10-15 Years of Relevant Experience in Oil and Gas EPC including maintenance,

testing and commissioning planning methodologies, and scheduling.

• Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera and a proven track record of successfully

managing and executing projects within timelines and budgets.

• Hands-on experience in work planning g from beginning of the carrier, scheduling, resource

allocation, and progress tracking.

• Expertise in preparing and submitting Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports to ensure the

maintenance projects are completed per the scheduled plan.

4. Key Responsibilities:

• Work Planning & Scheduling: Responsible for meticulous work planning and scheduling,

critical path method, reporting, invoicing, ensuring all tasks align with project milestones and

timelines.

• Resource Allocation & Tracking: Allocate resources effectively, track progress, and ensure

efficiency throughout the maintenance project lifecycle.

• Progress Reporting: Prepare detailed Daily, Weekly, and Monthly reports, ppt presentation

for project progress and present them to client.

5. Earned Value Management (EVM) and % weightage:

• Implement and monitor Earned Value Management (EVM) to assess the performance and

progress of the project.

• Use EVM data to forecast project completion, cost, and timeline, ensuring alignment with

project objectives.

6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Define and track KPIs related to project performance, such as schedule adherence, cost

control, resource utilization, and project quality.

• Provide reports on KPIs to ensure the project meets performance expectations and takes

corrective actions where needed.

7. Risk Mitigation Plan:

• Identify and evaluate potential risks, including project delays, resource shortages, and

unforeseen circumstances.

• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of identified risks

on the project's timeline and budget.

8. Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with project teams, including engineers, procurement, and construction staff,

to ensure adherence to schedules and identify any delays.

• Address delays promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues quickly

and keep the project on track.

9. Location:

• Hamriyah Free Zone, Phase 1 (SPA), Sharjah, UAE.

10. Contract Duration:

• The position is for a minimum duration of 1 year, with the potential for extension based on

project requirements.

11. Cost Control:

• Ensure cost control measures are in place, monitor project expenses, and manage project

budgets efficiently.

• Work with the finance and project teams to ensure project costs remain within budget and

identify cost-saving opportunities where possible.

skills, a deep understanding of EPCC onshore and offshore project, and the ability to mitigate risks

while ensuring project success.
