Senior Procurement Engineer

Plan, execute and finalize Supplier / Sub Contractor procurement for the company projects.

Direct and manage procurement process life cycle from the inception to end.

Review the performance of the approved sub-contractor / supplier and recommend decisions on their status.

Identify, interview and qualify new Suppliers / Sub-Contractors.

Review, approve and monitor the procurement schedule prepared by PE for suppliers/sub-contract procurement for each project.

Review and approve the enquiry documents prepared by Project Engineer.

Evaluate the comparison statement of the offers received and advise on any option or value engineering to be proposed to client.

Negotiate price, terms and conditions and finalize with supplier / sub-contractor.

Check the draft of LOI and ensure compliance with contract document or identity alternatives/optons.

Study the contract documents (specifications, drawings and bill of quatities) to ensure that the correct quantities of items have been identified for procurement.

Co-ordinate with the site team/Planning Engineer and prepare the procurement log.

Make recommendation/advice to Contracts Department to issue the Letter of Intent (LOI) and Subcontract Agreements.

Co-ordinate with Head of Commercial to finallize the payment terms, programme and other important terms with the supplier/subcontractor based on the site requirements, cash flow and main contract documents.

Review the subcontractors' work at site and ensure their execution is according to specification, drawings and subcontract agreement.

Check the draft of LOI and ensure compliance with contract document or identify alternatives/options.
