Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for cement manufacturing inputs, including raw materials, spare parts, and consumables, driving cost optimization and supply chain resilience.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with key suppliers, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to support operational efficiency.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks related to supply disruptions, price fluctuations, and quality issues.
- Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, ethical standards, and company guidelines.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a focus on the cement manufacturing or steel industry.
Proven track record of successful negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction within the cement industry.
Strong understanding of cement manufacturing processes, raw materials, and related equipment and spare parts.
MIS analysis and reports.
