Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze raw materials and spare parts stock levels; ensure proactive replenishment planning.
Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, Planning, and Warehouse teams to understand requirements and priorities.
Request, review, and analyze monthly pricing updates, market rates, and cost fluctuations.
Lead negotiations with local and international suppliers to secure the best pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, warranty conditions, and contracts.
Source, qualify, and onboard new suppliers based on technical, commercial, and financial evaluations.
Create, approve, and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policies.
Track and ensure on-time delivery of all active POs, resolving any delivery delays or issues.
Coordinate with logistics, freight forwarders, and customs to ensure smooth shipment handling.
Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations and develop supplier improvement plans.
Maintain and update procurement records, vendor contracts, and price databases.
Support annual budgeting and cost-saving initiatives, driving cost-reduction strategies.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
CIPS / CPSM certification is a strong advantage (or willingness to pursue).
3 6 years of proven experience in Procurement / Purchasing.
Background in manufacturing or industrial supply chains preferred.
Proven track record in supplier negotiation and sourcing.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Deep understanding of the procurement cycle, supplier market, and cost structures.
Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Odoo / Dynamics / etc.).
Solid understanding of Incoterms, import/export documentation, and logistics coordination.
Excellent communication and cross-departmental coordination skills.
High ownership, accountability, and leadership mindset.
Strong time management and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
Excellent English (written & spoken)
