Key Responsibilities

• Direct Product Owners on key product development activities.
• You will manage multiple products backlog by prioritizing and refining items based on stakeholder feedback, business value, and project goals.
• Define together with teams the acceptance criteria for features and validating that they meet those criteria during testingYou will ensure communication keeping all stakeholders informed about progress of product development. Report status of each product from Product Perspective and provide clarity of roadmap working closely with Product Management team.
• You will lead the execution of digital product development and transformation projects for leading industry players, mainly in the Middle East.
• You will collaborate with internal teams on strategic designs to manage and transform agile products in keeping with the objectives set by leadership teams.
• You will engage on some of the most challenging business problems facing our clients. These activities can range from collaborating with other Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Development, Quality Assurance,
• Design teams on a 1:1 basis, as well as Sales and Marketing to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met to support the company s overall strategy and goals.
• In each situation, as a product owner, you will typically be at the center of the problem solving, advising internal and external stakeholders on how to successful execute on their strategic vision with digital means.
  
  

Key Metrics

• Communicate the vision to the technical team Ensure requirements are captured in JIRA (or anyother tool utilized by the company) and published to the team
• Manage the backlog
• Interface with the technical team managers for technical problem solving
• Interface with Product Managers and ensure alignment of execution against Product Strategy
• Supporting Program Manager on Resource forecasting as per Technical Requirements
• Issue Escalation from clients to management
• Improve efficiency of the team which translates to cost savings and/or improves on revenue (added value)
• Create the fundamentals and process for the Product Owners activities
• Mentor Product Owners
• Features Technical Completion update
• Backlog Status update
• Risks and Issues update
• Change requests, if applicable
• Process compliance (100%).
• Fully Prepared for Project reviews (100%).
• Attend EDGE Project review meetings
  
  

Education And Minimum Requirements

• Bachelors degree in computer science, business or equivalent degree
• 8+ years of experience leading Agile projects as a product owner and/or as a scrum master
• Experience leading product and/or cross functional teams; experience as both a team member and coach in the Agile product owner roles
• Experience building consumer quality products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
• Strong product instinct to build great product vision, product roadmap and competitive analysis
• Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge on tracking and analytics setup
  
  

Key Skills

• PSPO or Product Owner related certifications issued by recognized bodies.
• Skills to prioritize and align with business and IT stakeholders to ensure highest value capture
• Ability to work under pressure and manage client expectations; ability to work at an abstract level and continuously pivot to arrive at the highest impact answer for the client
• Excellent analytical skills and data driven approach to constantly analyze user feedback and analytics report
• Ability to influence senior client business and IT executives on transforming towards agile; ability to move between strategic discussions with senior client leaders to tackle on the ground agile coaching with teams
• Excellent communication skills; skills to communicate complex ideas effectively in English
