Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and optimize daily production operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor production processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain to resolve production issues.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process deviations and equipment failures.
  • Support the introduction of new products and processes, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations within the production area.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and production staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
  • Participate in audits and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in heavy industry.

Proven track record of optimizing production processes and improving operational efficiency.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective team collaboration.

Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Solid understanding of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.

Demonstrated leadership skills and experience mentoring junior staff.
