Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of interior fit-out projects, from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budget, and timelines.
  • Manage and coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and resolve any conflicts that arise.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks or delays.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality of workmanship, compliance with building codes, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Manage project budgets, including cost control, forecasting, and the review and approval of invoices and payments.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, challenges, and solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the project.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, including building codes, fire safety, and environmental standards.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates 10+ years of experience in interior fit-out project management, with a strong focus on commercial or hospitality projects.
  • Exhibits a deep understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
  • Shows proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of motivating and guiding project teams.
  • Exhibits exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges.
  • Possesses strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Is fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional language proficiency is a plus.
