Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee multiple construction projects, gas distribution, or utility infrastructure from initiation through completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, budget control, resource management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out.

  • Lead project teams comprising Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and labourers.

  • Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.

  • Develop and monitor project schedules, manpower plans, procurement requirements, and project budgets.

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, government authorities, and internal stakeholders.

  • Review project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.

  • Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and contractual obligations.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and industry regulations.

  • Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.

  • Support tender reviews and project planning initiatives.

  • Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout project execution.


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline; Master's is a plus.

  • Minimum 15-20 years in project management, preferably in Gas Distribution, MEP, Oil & Gas, or construction projects.

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and large multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and risk management.

  • Experience dealing with clients, consultants, and government authorities within the UAE.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.

  • PMP Certification is an advantage

  • UAE Driving License is preferred.
