Senior QA/QC Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA/QC Engineer to join our Roads and Utilities division. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, workmanship, inspections, and testing activities fully comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of civil infrastructure, particularly with RTA and DM standards, along with hands-on experience in QA/QC documentation, inspections, and quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control & Compliance:

Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Ensure all construction activities for utilities, chambers, and road works comply with project and authority standards.

Verify material approvals, check storage conditions, and ensure material validity aligns with project requirements.

Inspection & Testing:

Monitor daily inspections, site testing activities, and report any deviations.

Coordinate with accredited laboratories for testing and verify accuracy of test results.

Assist in preparing and issuing Inspection Requests (IRs), test reports, NCRs, and corrective action documentation.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records, logs, and quality dossiers.

Support final project handover by preparing quality documentation, test certificates, and compliance files.

Liaise effectively with site teams, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth inspection and approval processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

5–10 years of proven QA/QC experience in civil infrastructure projects, specifically roads and utilities.

Strong working knowledge of RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) and Dubai Municipality (DM) quality standards.

Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
