Your Tasks

Quality Execution & Enablement

  • Act as the senior quality representative, providing on-ground support to execute quality systems, standards, and processes across the MENA region.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for quality operational topics, ensuring alignment with global frameworks and local market needs.
  • Support the Regulatory & Quality Manager in translating strategy into effective operational routines, controls, and best practices.

Contract Manufacturing & Suppliers Oversight

  • Coordinate and monitor quality activities with contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure product compliance and adherence to GMP.
  • Conduct routine performance reviews, track quality KPIs, and follow up on deviations and improvement plans.

Warehouse, Logistics & Distribution Quality

  • Oversee quality practices related to product storage, handling, and transportation
  • Investigate deviations found at inbound, damages, temperature excursions, and quality holds, working cross-functionally to close gaps.
  • Ensure quality oversight of VAS (value-added services) and rework activities, including relabeling, sleeving, and repackaging, to maintain product integrity and compliance with market requirements.

Quality Management System (QMS) & SOP Deployment

  • Maintain and localize SOPs and work instructions in line with global QMS requirements.
  • Coordinate QMS maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Complaints & Non-Conformance Handling

  • Lead the operational investigation and resolution of customer and consumer complaints, including root cause analysis and CAPA.
  • Consolidate complaint data, identify trends, and support the implementation of systemic corrective actions.

Audit & Inspection Readiness

  • Act as quality auditor for internal and third-party audits for contract manufacturers, warehouses, packaging suppliers, and distributors in the MENA region.
  • Utilize certified lead auditor expertise to plan, execute, and document audits in accordance with ISO/GMP/GDP standards.
  • Assess compliance against Beiersdorf s QMS and requirements, identifying gaps and recommending practical corrective actions.
  • Follow up on audit findings to ensure timely and effective closure of CAPAs.

Training & Capability Building

  • Facilitate training sessions and knowledge sharing on key quality topics
  • Serve as a mentor to junior quality team members and partners, fostering hands-on learning and best practice adoption.

Continuous Improvement & Metrics

  • Monitor quality KPIs and escalate recurring issues or gaps
  • Contribute to local improvement projects and quality culture initiatives in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
  • Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 or equivalent) is required; additional certifications are a plus
  • 5 8 years of experience in Quality Management within the FMCG, cosmetics, or detergents
  • Proven track record in:
    • Managing quality operations in contract manufacturing environments.
    • Overseeing logistics, warehousing, and rework/VAS activities.
    • Leading or supporting audits.
    • Implementing and maintaining QMS frameworks and SOPs.
    • Investigating and resolving consumer and customer complaints.
