Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for construction projects.
• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess project costs.
• Manage project cost control, monitoring budgets and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and certify interim and final payments, variations, and claims.
• Handle contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Analyze subcontractor quotations and negotiate contract terms and pricing.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost value reconciliation (CVR).
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company policies, and UAE construction standards.
• Identify cost risks and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
• Support dispute resolution, claims preparation, and contractual correspondence when required.
• Assist in project close-out activities, including final account settlement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
• Great networking abilities.
