Senior Quotation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quotation Engineer to join our Middle East Engineering Team in Dubai, UAE.

As a Senior Quotation Engineer, for Medium Voltage Power Distribution (MVPD) products, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and competitive quotations to our clients worldwide in accordance with customer specifications and Eatons procesudres and guidlines. Your primary focus will be on the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.

What You ll Do

• Deliver high quality quotations within the agreed timeline.
• Interpret and analyze customer requests for quotations, identifying relevant information and collaborating with internal engineering, commercial, and marketing teams.
• Specify, calculate, and prepare quotations in alignment with companys standard procedures.
• Work collaboratively with internal expert teams and external customers to meet their needs.
• Stay informed on market/segment trends and competitor offerings.
• Apply knowledge of Eaton products (Medium Voltage platforms) and understand distribution networks, plant front-end scheduling, engineering, manufacturing processes, and equipment cycle times.
• Engage in technical and commercial negotiations with internal and external customers.
• Provide technical advice and support as needed.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, preferably electrical engineering or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  
  
  

Skills

• Demonstrate knowledge of Transformers and Medium Voltage systems.
• Insightful understanding of relevant market segments, such as Datacenters, Utilities.
• Proficiency in an additional language such as Turkish or Dutch is considered an asset.
• Commercial acumen.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
