Assume a lead role in reservoir simulation studies and in the development, refinement and application of reservoir simulation models. 1. Establish simulation study objectives and resource requirements.2. Prepare the scope of work for reservoir simulation studies, including technical evaluations of proposals from consultants or other third parties.3. Define reservoir properties based on analysis of available geoscience, pressure and production data. Determine the need for additional data acquisition and manage the data acquisition process.4. Coordinate efforts in building reservoir models using available simulation software applications.5. Review simulator input data, oversee simulation runs, interpret results and modify input parameters and algorithms as required.6. Work with geoscience specialists to integrate static and dynamic models, and to incorporate data obtained from new wells and other information sources.7. Perform history matching based on pressure and production data, and make refinements to the simulator as required.8. Integrate SCAL/PVT/PTA data in reservoir models and ensure history matching.9. Use results from reservoir simulation studies to forecast production rates and ultimate recovery under different operating scenarios.2. Incorporate volumetric, probabilistic, numerical and performance methods to generate estimates of hydrocarbon reserves.2. Develop reserve estimates and reports in accordance with SPE guidelines. 4)10%Control: Policy, procedure and risk mitigation. 1. Maintain compliance with Dragon Oil guidelines and requirements regarding the gathering, quality control, maintenance, storage and retrieval of technical data.2. Ensure compliance with and proper application of company procedures and internal regulations, including those pertaining to confidential information, and recommend updates as needed. 5)10%Liaison and coordination: 1. Coordinate efforts among reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers and geoscientists to ensure a seamless workflow with respect to data transfer and integration.2. Participate in the well planning process to ensure that the drilling program meets reservoir management objectives.3.
