Job Description
Protect the public through the prevention of radiological sabotage and theft, diversion or proliferation of special nuclear materials as well as ensuring the protection of ENEC staff, contractors, subcontractors and visitors, sensitive information and assets through the development and implementation of the Physical Protection Plan(s).
1.
Activity: Primary Responsibilities
Responsibility:
Implement PPP (Physical Protection Plan) and procedures as required by FANR.
Assist the Security Operations Supervisor to direct the contracted security force effectively and efficiently.
Provide administrative support to inspectors and contracted security force in day to day Site Security Operations on 24/7 basis, provide assistance to Site Security Operations Supervisor to prepare duty roster, manage vacations and ensure backups are provided.
Coordinate and support surveillance and observation activities to detect abnormal actions by persons and/or vehicles within the site boundary and where IIS is stored.
Ensure communication and security equipment are 100% functional at all times.
Coordinate the attendance of Security Inspectors to security incidents/investigations and generate incident reports as defined in the procedure.
Provide support to Security Operations Supervisor in incident management on site.
Provide administrative support to camera room activities and requirements for all staff as well as consultants, contract staff, and any other persons that require access to use camera at Barakah NPP.
Provide administrative support to the Command, Communication Center and CCTV at Barakah NPP.
Maintains strict confidentiality and security of all Site Security Operations information and documentation.

Activity: Program Development
Responsibility:
Coordinate site based security guard force to support access control, patrols and other requirements described in the Physical Protection Plan and Procedures.
Provide mentoring to section s staff and contracted guard force in the areas of security operations at Barakah NPP.
5.
Activity: Planning and Coordinating Activity
Responsibility:
Attending departmental meetings with Heads and Supervisors
Sharing information and knowledge and enabling cooperative working relationships with Security teams.
Evaluating the effectiveness of the support provided by the Site Security Inspectors and updating processes and procedures accordingly
Assist the implementation of section s initiatives/decisions within the Security Division.
6.
Activity: Compliance and Requirements Management
Responsibility:
Promote and support a culture of compliance, risk avoidance/mitigation and corporate accountability throughout the organization.
Identify and implement opportunities for efficiencies to improve site security operations to achieve program requirement goals.
Provide feedback on existing controls, procedures, policies to determine which are obsolete or out-of-date.
Assist to conduct compliance inspections within Site Security Operations.
