Job Description
To develop the drafting of the department planning of various projects, business plans in addition to implement a comprehensive performance management framework.
Activity: Core Functions
Responsibility:
Project Manage the projects being undertaken within the Security function
Develop, monitor and periodically update the Security function Budget and Business Plan
Conduct Risk Management on behalf of Security Planning team
Support the Security Planning and Security Operations Support teams in scheduling and monitoring procurement activities leading to services, equipment of facilities being delivered
Develop the Security functions periodic (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual) reports
Support the Security Planning team s coordination with other internal stakeholder departments
Develop policies and procedures that define the Security Planning team s responsibilities and actions for review and approval by Security Planning Management
Support the Head of Planning to coordinate with Human Resources for Security staff related matters
Activity: Budget & Business Plan (BP)
Responsibility:
Collect the Security function Budget data and compile budgets for review
Compile the monthly, quarterly and annual Budget and BP reporting
Collect BP KPI and performance related data and compile monthly report for review
Develop the Budget Change Requests and Business Plan Change Requests
Activity: Project Management (PM)
Responsibility:
Update the project related Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Project Execution Plans (PEPs), budgets and schedules on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Mange identification and input of risks into the ARM database, development of mitigation plans and monitor the risk mitigation progress.
Develop risk management reports for submission to the various risk governance committees
Support PM teams to coordinate the project works
Ensure that all projects are managed as per the applicable Nawah PMO, CPO or ENEC SPME Project Methodologies
Support the Security function with coordination of ENEC Procurement activities to include scheduling procurement requirements and schedules
Activity: Departmental Reporting
Responsibility:
Support the Security function to report to governance and oversight committees including but not limited to Board of Directors, Executive Committee, CNP, NSRB and IAB
Activity: Administration
Responsibility:
Develop the monthly project reports including schedule, budget and risk data gathering and report writing
Support the reporting cycle by recording financial information
Manage the submission of Oracle Purchase Requisitions and Good Received Notes for Security Planning
Oversee compliance with ENEC filing and records retention policies and procedures.
Activity: Stakeholder Management
Responsibility:
Ensure strong and effective relationships; liaison; coordination with internal stakeholders (PSC, FNA, QA, Risk Management etc.).
Manage the contracts related to contractors and consultants deployed within the department
Activity: Excellence & Quality Management
Responsibility:
Ensure commitment to Culture of Excellence and Quality Management by implementing best practices, complying with excellence requirements in terms of policies, procedures and systems, and exceeding stakeholders expectations
Activity: HSE & Security
Responsibility:
Follow all relevant departmental HSE policies, procedures, SOP s and instructions to ensure optimum HSE compliance in all aspects of work in accordance with sound management practices by applying these policies and procedures to self and others to take reasonable care for the health and safety of people, or the environment, who are at the employees place of work who may be affected by the employees acts or omissions at work
Follow all relevant Security policies, processes, procedures and instructions to ensure security compliance in all aspects of work, by applying them on individuals and information assets.
