Position: Senior Site Architect Location: Al Foah, Abu Dhabi, UAE Industry: Engineering Consultancy | Architecture & Planning Experience Required: Minimum 12 years Job Summary: Our client, a leading engineering consultancy and architecture & planning firm, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Site Architect to oversee architectural design, site coordination, and quality control for high-profile projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with consultants, ensuring compliance with design intent, project specifications, and regulatory requirements, while effectively managing on-site execution. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and manage all site-related architectural activities, ensuring alignment with approved designs and client requirements. • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines. • Review and approve architectural drawings, material submittals, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, progress, and adherence to design standards. • Oversee architectural detailing, finishes, and mock-ups to ensure design intent is fully realized. • Provide technical guidance to the project team and ensure smooth collaboration between disciplines. • Prepare site reports, document variations, and assist in resolving design-related challenges. • Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi authorities’ regulations and project health & safety requirements. Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a recognized university. • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, with a strong background in consultant-side roles in the UAE. • Proven track record of managing architectural works on large-scale projects. • Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and approval procedures. • Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills. • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
