Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures compliance with applicable GCAA and Stores procedures when receiving, inspecting, and processing all incoming materials.
  • Approves incoming materials by verifying specifications, conducting required inspections and measurements, and managing the rejection of non-conforming items.
  • Monitors shelf-life controlled items and reports any suspect, expired, or unapproved parts in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures ESDS-sensitive materials are handled, unpacked, and stored in compliance with approved procedures and protection standards.
  • Maintains technical oversight of tool traceability by verifying accurate documentation and ensuring tools meet regulatory and quality system requirements.
  • Maintains calibration status by verifying correct usage records, appropriate storage conditions, and timely coordination of calibration or repair.
  • Ensures Dangerous Goods (DGR) are handled, processed, and documented in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Coordinates the proper identification, segregation, and documentation of quarantine items, ensuring each is linked to a corresponding AMOS Tech Query.
  • Generates clear, accurate, and compliant inspection reports and documentation required for regulatory, audit, or quality purposes.
  • Ensures Dispatch and Repair-Process activities are completed in accordance with approved procedures and technical specifications.
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing adherence to safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and legal requirements.
  • Guides Stores on the correct application of inspection standards, regulatory requirements, and conformity procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in aviation material handling, logistics, or Stores inspection roles. Prior experience as a Stores Inspector in an airline or MRO environment is mandatory
  • Knowledge of AMOS or similar MRO/ERP systems for material and tool control is mandatory
  • Certifications in Electrostatic Discharge Sensitive (ESDS) handling and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) General Course
