Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
YAZ Media is seeking a talented and creative Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic team.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai. As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for crafting compelling and visually powerful video content that resonates with diverse audiences, while maintaining a consistent brand identity across multiple platforms.
Your strong storytelling instincts, technical editing expertise, and ability to create short, engaging, and high-impact video content will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narratives for our clients. You will collaborate closely with creative teams to transform concepts into polished, audience-driven video assets. Lead end-to-end post-production for high-impact video content across digital, social, and campaign platforms
Own creative and technical decision-making for video edits, ensuring exceptional quality and storytelling standards
Integrate AI-powered tools into editing workflows to enhance efficiency, creativity, and scalability
Edit and optimize short-form, long-form, and performance-driven video content (ads, reels, TikToks, YouTube, brand films)
Apply advanced color grading, sound design, motion graphics, and visual effects
Collaborate closely with creative directors, strategists, and clients to elevate concepts through video
Develop and maintain efficient post-production pipelines, templates, and best practices
Review, refine, and approve final edits before delivery
Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Mentor and provide creative direction to junior editors
Stay ahead of emerging video trends, AI tools, formats, and platform algorithms Extensive experience as a Senior Video Editor or Lead Editor (agency or production environment preferred)
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and modern post-production tools
Strong experience using AI-driven video tools (e.g., AI-assisted editing, auto-captioning, upscaling, generative visuals, voice enhancement, workflow automation)
Deep understanding of storytelling, pacing, performance metrics, and audience engagement
Advanced color grading and sound design skills
Proven ability to create high-performing social and digital video content
Strong leadership, mentoring, and feedback skills
Ability to translate creative strategy into polished, platform-ready video content
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complex workloads
Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong plus)
Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating advanced editing and innovative use of AI
