Roles & Responsibilities
An SEO Lead is a pivotal role within the digital marketing team responsible for spearheading the search engine optimization strategies of an organization. This role involves leveraging expertise in SEO best practices to enhance the online presence and visibility of the company's digital content. The SEO Lead will coordinate with various departments to ensure content optimization on all digital platforms, closely monitor performance metrics, and adapt strategies to meet evolving search engine algorithms. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to enhance search engine rankings.
- Collaborate with content and web development teams to ensure site optimization standards.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to guide content strategies and online campaigns.
- Analyze website analytics to monitor SEO performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends and Google's algorithm changes to adjust practices.
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists to deliver optimized digital content.
- Create and present reports on monthly SEO performance to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO issues that affect website accessibility and rankings.
- Manage off-page optimization projects, including link-building efforts and partnerships.
- Develop and maintain content calendars and SEO strategies aligned with marketing goals.
- Collaborate with paid search teams to align SEO and SEM strategies for holistic results.
- Monitoring industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SEO and digital marketing roles.
- Proven track record of achieving high-ranking outcomes in competitive markets.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web development practices.
- Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress and HubSpot.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
