DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an exceptionally talented SEO Marketing Managerwho can leverage expertise in planning, execution and search engine optimization to drive the performance of Amazon Mena. As Sr. SEO Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with local stakeholder and SEO engineering teams to ensure the SEO readiness of Mena Amazon websites, growing the performance of these websites.
This role focuses on the development of SEO marketing strategies and subsequent execution. You will be capable of both developing SEO strategies and rolling up your sleeves to implement these strategies, and understand how to perform SEO at scale. You will be a clear and persuasive communicator, have an excellent understanding of SEO best practices, and evangelize the value of SEO amongst stakeholders. You will analyze channel performance, develop strategies, and lead initiatives to grow the channel. You will manage and report day-to-day performance, and learn and influence multiple stakeholders including Automated Marketing teams. You will have the curiosity to seek out potential opportunities or investigate anomalies in business performance, leverage Amazon s business intelligence systems to evaluate them, and utilize your learnings and insights to devise strategies that drive improved performance.
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen business sense, and robust problem solving skills. The candidate will need to leverage their proven track record of leading as well as executing SEO initiatives, in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills. To guarantee your success, you will have the opportunity to engage and learn from our WW team of leaders in the SEO field, who will work with you on your strengths and weaknesses to guide you to success. This position will be located at Amazon s Dubai HQ.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
1. Devise and own the strategy, planning, and execution of SEO initiatives for MENA marketplace websites, incorporating local marketplace requirements and driving channel growth
2. Audit and analyze Amazon s SEO performance across multiple MENA marketplace websites, identifying issues, finding root-causes, and experimenting with solutions to improve performance at scale.
3. Analyze and communicate the SEO channels business performance to stakeholders, sharing, learning and improving best practices
4. Work closely with internal Product, Program and Engineering teams to optimizing and launch MENA Amazon websites with full SEO readiness from day 1, iteratively improving the launch processes so that each new launch is better than the last
5. Provide training of Amazon s internal SEO optimization and debug systems, reporting methods and optimization strategies to ensure continued long term performance of the channel


Internet / E-commerce / Dotcom

Desired Candidate Profile


1. Bachelor's degree required
2. 3+ years experience in e-commerce, online marketing or related fields.
3. Proven track record assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results and in a fast-paced online environment.
4. Ability to drive clear, thoughtful, and comprehensive analyses of marketing programs
5. Resourceful problem-solver with ability to excel in an ambiguous environment
6. Proven track record in managing SEO projects from inception to completion
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8. Experience with Excel and capable of manipulating data in order to perform both high level and more granular analysis. This includes familiarity with VLookups, Pivot tables, and other such functionalities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Experience with Enterprise SEO
2. Experience with SQL
3. Composed, poised, and professional demeanor
4. Has relentlessly high standards
5. Ability to prioritize workload and deliver results against multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting
6. Strong attention to detail
7. Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and an ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, drive rationale, discover root causes and identify opportunities
