Role Overview

The SEO Specialist will develop and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to increase organic traffic, improve domain authority, and enhance visibility for core offerings. The role requires a proactive, analytical, and resourceful professional who can take full ownership of organic growth with minimal handholding, managing keyword research, optimization, content briefs, analytics, and technical SEO fundamentals while partnering closely with the Content/Social Manager.

Key Responsibilities

SEO Strategy & Execution

Build and implement a long-term SEO roadmap aligned with business goals.

Conduct keyword research and optimization for priority pages.

Improve domain authority through ethical link-building activities.

Optimize existing content for on-page SEO and user intent.

Identify technical issues and coordinate fixes (indexing, metadata, site speed, structure).

Organic Growth & Content Support

Provide SEO briefs for blogs, landing pages, and educational content.

Partner with the Content/Social Manager to ensure alignment with SEO strategy.

Optimize published content for ranking, readability, and conversions.

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor and report on performance via GA4, Search Console, and SEO tools.

Track keyword movements, organic traffic trends, and content performance.

Prepare clear, actionable monthly reports with insights and next steps.

Competitor & Market Research

Monitor competitors’ ranking strategies, content, and backlink activities.

Identify opportunities for new content and improvements.

Qualifications

Experience

3+ years of hands-on SEO and organic growth experience.

Proven track record improving domain authority and organic visibility.

Experience in B2B or service-based industries preferred.

Skills

Strong knowledge of on-page SEO, keyword research, link-building, and content optimization.

Familiarity with technical SEO fundamentals (no coding required).

Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrens, SEMrush, Mos, and Screaming Frog.

Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

Highly proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
