We have a job opportunity for the position of “Service Desk Analyst“ with leading Telecom client. Please reply with your updated CV if you find the job role suitable.

Role description • Attend calls or emails from users related to Incidents or Service Requests
• Responsible for monitoring the service delivery infrastructure in a 24/7 environment
• Monitor all network related events, performance of the network across a variety of performance metrics
• Perform Routine tasks and housekeeping including checking system logs, performing and validating backups, etc
• Analyse the performance of the network service provider in the way in which network connectivity services are delivered and managed.
• Identify deviation from normal infrastructure and service operation
• Act as a focal point for all incidents reported to the Service Desk
• Record/Register an incident in the NOC Service Management tool/Incident Management system
• Initial classification, first level investigation and resolution of incidents recorded
• Liaise with 3rd party IT hardware maintainer and 2nd level support staff to help resolve incidents or fulfil Service Request
• Maintain quality and monitor service calls through to completion
• Assist in maintaining the quality of data held on the configuration management database
Skills and experience needed

• ICT Related University Degree or Diploma
• 3+ years of related IT industry experience
• ITIL foundation certified
• Hands-on experience in using monitoring systems (like HP-OpenView) or similar event management systems AND service management system (like Manage Engine, HP- SM) or similar
• Experience in working on a Service Desk or similar customer-facing environment
• Experience of troubleshooting and diagnostics
• Good communications ability
• Good telephone manner

• Familiarity with ITIL Framework
