Summary of the role
To provide quality, professional, and profitable after-sales support & service to the Emerson Rosemount customer base in Iraq and other regions in Middle East and Africa for Customers for all Rosemount Measurement, Analytical Products and Systems including Fire & Gas Detectors, SWAS, Liquid Analyzers, Combustion Analyzers, Continuous Gas Analyzers, CEMS, Process Gas Chromatographs & Radar Tank Gauging system.
Pro-actively work with customers to grow after-sales services revenue.
Roles and Responsibilities
Carry out supervision of installation and commissioning, fault analysis / investigation and repairs on Rosemount Measurement & Analytical products
Use diagnostic tools and software to assist with installation / commissioning / on-line fault rectification
Demonstrate, calibrate and retrofit the Emerson range of Measurement & Analytical field devices
Compile service Reports / Time Sheets and Obtaining customer sign off for work undertaken
Liaison with Divisional Engineering / Manufacturing centers in Europe / USA / Asia
Support Service Job Planning for Service and Training jobs
Support sales activities with required support, like surveys, and customer meetings.
Coordinate with Local Business Partner and clients multiple jobs.
Coordinate warranty, maintenance & repair activities for Return Material Authorization.
Support service and sales leader to develop a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Support Service and sales leader for the performance and development of the Sales Provide field operations support to customers in accordance to with the terms of the customer contract and AMC.
Carry out troubleshooting, repairs and servicing of workshop equipment's, enable hardware and software at Customers premises to the highest standards.
Update of CRM on daily basis by driving Quote to Order follow up process
Support sales to visit customers, consultants, end users and transmitting our technology expertise to them.
Support achieving the assigned target in terms of budget revenue and unit sales for that particular region.
Support service and sales leader to provide customers with timely price quotations, sustainable products and latest technologies best designed to meet the customers' needs.
Adherence to all safety, quality, company rules and regulations
Internal and external customers
Willingness to travel (up to 50-60%) Qualifications / Requirements
Qualified to a minimum of degree level in an Engineering discipline
A minimum of Five years' experience as a Service or Instrument Engineer in a process
control environment with a particular emphasis on commissioning and start-up of on-line
Measurement products such as Level-, Pressure-, Temperature transmitters, Radar Tank Gauging, , or experience in the repair and servicing of Emerson Measurement & Analytical products/systems and /or competitor products & systems
Previous experience with Analytical and Tank Gauging system startup and commissioning experience would be an asset.
Have a sound knowledge of Emerson Measurement products (application, service & operation)
Ability to communicate effectively. Must be proficient in the English language & Arabic.
Must have the qualifications, experience and ability to competently and efficiently perform the duties assigned
