Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and continuously improve the reconciliation team's capabilities to handle multiple issuing clients.
  • Ensure adequate systems and controls are in place to mitigate the risk that might arise due to operational and human errors.
  • Review the reconciliation reports daily to ensure accurate and timely identification, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies in financial transactions.
  • Report and escalate ageing reconciliation items as per defined timelines following the escalation matrix provided to ensure the right stakeholders are updated.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives for the development of underlying processes, reporting mechanisms and systems to facilitate ongoing improvement in the efficiency and quality of reconciliations processes.
  • Primary contact point for escalations, projects and process changes impacting reconciliation processes.
  • Define and implement team goals aligned with organizational objectives, emphasizing a customer-centric approach. Facilitate ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Conduct regular process reviews to maintain staff productivity at optimal levels with best-in-class service delivery.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues raised by clients or other stakeholders to maintain high levels of satisfaction

People Managment:

  • Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for their respective Department
  • Manage, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
  • Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance
  • Uphold a high-performance working environment and promote the Organization s Values
