The SharePoint System Administrator provides support for the Enterprise SharePoint Environment.
Responsible to ensure the operational health of the SharePoint environment, including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
The System Administrator will suggest, promote, and leverage published standards to minimize environment complexity and ensure compliance. Required to continually improve operations through routine monitoring of system performance, review of system event and application log files, trend analysis, configuration, incident and problem management processes.
Computer and Communications Degree (CCE) or Bachelor s degree in Computer Science
Microsoft SharePoint certification
Experience in system administration of enterprise SharePoint environment (multi-server farms) including monitoring and troubleshooting
Experience in MS PowerShell script
Familiarity with troubleshooting using Windows event logs, ULS logs
Understanding and experience working authentication types: SSO (SAML, WS-Fed), NTLM, Kerberos
Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies related to SharePoint: Windows OS, AD, SQL, DNS, load balancing, reverse-proxy, SCOM
Experience with Disaster Recovery
Business intelligence in SharePoint (a plus)
Knowledge of IT and web-based technology concepts
Microsoft Office application suite
