Sharia Operations Manager

Description
•Organize regular meetings within the department for
better coordination and control for smooth function of the department.
•Risk evaluation process and controls for error free
functioning of the department.
•Implementation of the systems and up gradation
process.
•Monitoring MIS statistics for the management and
improving the quality of information.
•To ensure that all processes are in place as per the
policy and procedures
requirements.
•Managing and supervising staff to ensure the smooth
functioning of the daily processes
•Monitoring the processing of Sharia Commodity
transactions/requests and exchanging broker s documents immediately upon
receipt, and as per the agreed cutoff time.
•Ensuring accuracy of prepared brokers commodity transactions,
Transactions to be double checked by Maker/Checker to avoid mistakes.•
Monitoring the process of transactions as per
Sharia Compliant,
•Implementing any new Sharia products and make sure
to process as per Sharia Compliant proposal.
•Monitoring and ensuring that all assignments
requested by Line Manager, before deadline/on deadline maximum
•Follow up with customer services to on pending
items related to customers and cancel the unsigned deals.
•Reporting on monthly basis the volume of each
product.
•Escalating issues to the higher management where
management attention is needed.
•Insure that all brokerage fees statement is
reconciled on monthly basis as per our records.
•Insure that all brokerage fees payment is executed
on time.
•Insure that the monthly Proof is performed on
monthly basis before the 5 day of each month.
•Closure of any open Audit Findings.
Automation
of any manual processes within the department.

Qualifications
University degree in business management or finance
In depth knowledge of sharia commodity operations
•Thorough knowledge of Central Bank and other applicable rules and regulations
•Expert knowledge of all relevant products/financial instruments
•In-depth understanding of economic and market drivers for sharia commodities
•Thorough understanding of managing risks in sharia commodity operations and investment
•In-depth accounting knowledge for sharia commodities
