Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are pleased to invite UAE Nationals to apply for the position of Shift Engineer at a leading gas manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated Emirati talent—including fresh graduates—who are eager to build a career in industrial plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support plant operations by monitoring and recording key parameters during the shift.
- Assist in supervising daily operational activities, including filling processes and routine checks.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for any required maintenance tasks.
- Monitor control room activities to ensure safe and efficient operations (training will be provided).
- Follow company safety, quality, and environmental guidelines (SHEQ).
- Keep track of plant stock levels and support shift team leader in daily operations.
- Report any unusual plant conditions and support basic troubleshooting under supervision.
- Act as a point of contact during afternoon or night shifts to ensure smooth site operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- UAE National (with Family Book)
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related fields)
- Fresh graduates are welcome—training will be provided
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in shifts (24/7 operations)
- Organized and eager to learn
