Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules and targets, and proactively address any deviations.
  • Monitor and control production processes, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of production operators, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
  • Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures to minimize defects and maintain product integrity.
  • Manage and maintain production equipment, coordinating maintenance activities and troubleshooting technical issues to prevent disruptions.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, minimizing workplace accidents.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance production processes.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate supply to meet production demands and minimize waste.
  • Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies to enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth production flow and efficient resource allocation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical principles.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, highlighting practical knowledge and industry expertise.
  • Exhibits experience within the Plastic manufacturing industry, indicating familiarity with specific production challenges.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in English and Hindi, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams.
  • Possesses strong technical skills, including knowledge of production equipment, process control, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Displays physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adapting to the demands of the role.
  • Demonstrates a proactive and results-oriented approach, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and achieve production targets.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, adept at identifying and resolving production issues efficiently.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and guiding a team to achieve production goals.
