Key tasks
1. Carries out routine maintenance and repairs to Guest room maintenance
2. Attends to electrical and ancillaries installations such as audio/video cables, computer cables and MATV Systems
3. Responds to a guest maintenance request within 15 minutes on receipt of the same
4. Ensure that the supplied uniform is clean and in good repair. Always maintain a clean and tidy appearance before entering a guest or public areas.
5. Ensure that the plant room, workshop and related areas are kept clean and tidy condition
6. Observes prescribed safety standards, helps maintain safe conditions for self and others.
7. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
8. Responsible for carrying out work as planned preventive maintenance.

Essential and optional requirements
1. Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook
2. Comply with company grooming standards at all times to portray a professional image of self and hotel
3. Comply with time and attendance policies set by the hotel
4. Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development
5. Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to health, hygiene and fire life safety.
6. Familiarize yourself with emergency and evacuation procedures./
7. Ensure all security incidents, accidents and near misses are always logged in a timely manner and brought to the attention of the Line Manager.
8. Comply with the company s corporate code of conduct.
9. Performs all tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer in pursuit of the achievement of business
