Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute and analyze test cases for SHIFT software, meticulously documenting results and identifying defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to investigate and resolve reported issues, ensuring efficient bug fixing and system stability.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and test data, contributing to a robust and reusable testing framework.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, actively contributing to agile team processes.
  • Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and new features, guaranteeing software stability after changes.
  • Conduct performance testing to evaluate system responsiveness under various load conditions, ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Create comprehensive test reports summarizing testing activities, results, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and tools, proactively seeking opportunities for professional development.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of test environments, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and procedures, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in software engineering principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as ISTQB or similar, showcasing a commitment to industry-recognized testing standards.
  • Demonstrates 2+ years of experience in software testing, providing practical knowledge and expertise in various testing methodologies.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of the automotive industry, specifically SHIFT technology, highlighting relevant industry knowledge.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal, ensuring effective communication within a diverse team environment.
  • Possesses strong technical skills in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit), enabling efficient test script development and execution.
  • Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex software defects.
  • Exhibits strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively within an agile team and communicate technical information clearly.
  • Displays a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy in all testing activities.
