Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily financial transactions, including cash handling and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and following up on outstanding payments to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, providing insights into shop performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct inventory management and costing, tracking stock levels, and calculating the cost of goods sold to optimize profitability.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, providing a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Holds a minimum of 3 years of experience in shop accounting or a similar role, demonstrating practical application of accounting knowledge.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar, streamlining financial processes.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of inventory management and costing methods, optimizing stock control.
