Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily opening and closing procedures of the retail shop.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders to ensure appropriate stock availability.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in merchandising and display setup to enhance store aesthetics.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the shop to ensure a welcoming environment.
  • Process transactions accurately and handle cash in accordance with company policies.
  • Support shop management in planning and executing promotional events and sales.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain and organize shop documentation, including sales reports and invoices.
  • Assist in training new staff members and help foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to within the shop premises.
  • Contribute to achieving sales targets by promoting products and services proactively.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service, preferably in a shop setting.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
