Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain our Shopify Plus storefront themes, templates, checkout flows).
  • Ensure seamless UX across devices and optimize conversion rate & retention features (upsells, cross-sells, bundles, subscriptions).
  • Implement and optimize SEO best practices: semantic structure, metadata, schema, structured headings, page speed improvements.
  • Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot tracking & analytics (GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, server-side tracking).
  • Work closely with the marketing team to enable campaign tracking, A/B testing, and attribution accuracy.
  • Improve site performance with a focus on Core Web Vitals (INP, CLS, LCP).
  • Integrate and customize third-party Shopify apps or develop custom solutions when necessary.
  • Collaborate with designers and brand teams to launch new features and product collections.
  • Monitor technical SEO and analytics dashboards to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Shopify Plus Developer (3+ years preferred).
  • Expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), JSON.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify APIs and app integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with tracking tools: GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Klaviyo tracking, server-side tagging.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO fundamentals for e‑commerce (structured data, site hierarchy, semantic markup, performance optimization).
  • Familiarity with checkout customization and subscription models Recharge, Bold, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Git/version control.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken).
  • Experience with headless commerce (React, Next.js, Hydrogen).
  • Knowledge of CRO tools (Google Optimize, Optimizely, etc.).
  • Experience working in premium consumer brands or pet industry.
  • Familiarity with internationalization (multi-language, multi-currency setups).
