Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery, including shovels and loaders, with precision to move materials like earth, rocks, and minerals, ensuring efficient project timelines.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of equipment, identifying and reporting any mechanical issues to prevent downtime and ensure safety compliance.
• Load and unload materials onto trucks and other transport vehicles, optimizing load distribution to maintain vehicle stability and comply with weight regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations to minimize hazards and ensure a productive workspace.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a valid heavy equipment operator's license or certification.
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating shovels and loaders in a relevant industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating various types of shovels and loaders, including knowledge of their specific functions and limitations.
