Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on construction sites.
- Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
- Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and prepare progress reports on electrical works.
- Assist in the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site electrical problems efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical installations comply with local regulations and industry best practices.
- Support the preparation of as-built documentation and handover procedures.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute technical expertise to optimize project outcomes.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Site Electrical Engineer or similar role in the construction industry is A Must.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation practices, and safety standards.
- Low voltage and low current experience is A Must
- Experience with electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in using engineering and project management software.
- Willingness to work on-site and adapt to changing project requirements.
