Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise and execute interior fit-out works including civil, MEP coordination, joinery, gypsum, ceiling, flooring, and finishing works.
- Manage daily site operations and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and prepare daily and weekly site reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Coordinate material delivery, storage, and usage at site.
- Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Support testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
- Travel between project sites as required using a valid driving license.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out companies.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out construction methods and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Experience with retail, commercial, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects.
- Knowledge of local authority approvals and site regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic project reporting tools.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to schedule and oversee construction activities efficiently.
- Prepare detailed reports on progress, delays, and issues, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and material usage.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to meet project goals.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on-site, conducting regular safety audits and training.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to resolve on-site design discrepancies promptly.
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and laborers, fostering a productive and motivated team environment.
- Manage procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of materials and minimizing project delays.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, changes, and inspections to support project completion.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in site engineering, preferably in residential and commercial projects.
- Experience in using engineering software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent design programs is critical.
