Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning including site layout, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely completion.
- Supervise all on-site construction and finishing activities, ensuring progress, quality, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and resolve site issues promptly.
- Manage procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment to maintain adequate supply and workflow.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure work meets specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors, resolving construction and finishing challenges effectively.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily progress reports, site records, and as-built drawings.
- Enforce HSE standards by conducting regular site inspections and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Monitor project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities to maintain budget efficiency.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders regularly, providing updates and ensuring satisfaction with project progress.
- Support HSE initiatives and ensure alignment with company policies and IMS procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in site supervision of hotel or high-rise building projects, particularly in finishing works. GCC experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, finishing methods, and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, project management tools, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Solid understanding of QA/QC procedures, site logistics, and occupational safety standards (OSHA).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High adaptability, resilience, and commitment to quality and safety.
