Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and quality standards, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed site progress reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly updates, accurately reflecting project status and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of work, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and other technical submittals, ensuring compliance with design requirements and industry best practices.
  • Manage and control site documentation, including permits, licenses, and inspection records, maintaining a comprehensive and organized filing system.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of project budgets, track expenditures, and analyze cost variances, proactively identifying and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Manage and resolve site-related issues, including technical challenges, material shortages, and labor disputes, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel, including training and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables, coordinating with project managers and stakeholders to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in construction principles and practices.
  • Holds a minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering within the EPC construction industry, showcasing proven expertise in project execution.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in using relevant software, such as AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools, enhancing efficiency in project tasks.
  • Exhibits comprehensive knowledge of international construction codes and standards, such as those of the ACI, ASTM, and OSHA, ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of construction methodologies, including concrete, steel, and MEP systems, enabling effective oversight and management.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, enabling quick and effective resolutions to site challenges and issues.
  • Demonstrates exceptional organizational and time management skills, ensuring efficient management of multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Possesses a proactive and results-oriented approach, demonstrating a commitment to achieving project goals and exceeding expectations.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to safety and environmental standards, ensuring a safe and sustainable work environment on the construction site.
