Job Summary

At Homes By Design, we deliver high-end interior fit-outs and bespoke renovation solutions across villas, penthouses, townhouses, and select commercial spaces. We are seeking a Site Engineer specializing in interior design and fit-out to supervise the day-to-day execution of our luxury interior projects.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring flawless on-site implementation of interior finishes, MEP coordination, carpentry, joinery, flooring, painting, and installation of custom furnishings—while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all on-site activities related to interior fit-out, including gypsum works, tiling, MEP, paint, joinery, furniture installation, and final finishing.
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors, site labor, and suppliers to maintain smooth workflows and material availability.
• Review and interpret architectural and MEP drawings to ensure compliance and precise execution.
• Ensure that site work aligns with approved designs, client specifications, and schedule milestones.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.
• Conduct on-site quality control checks to ensure high-end finishes and attention to detail.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and site safety requirements.
• Liaise with designers and engineers to resolve technical challenges or site discrepancies quickly.
• Maintain detailed documentation including inspection requests, snag lists, material approvals, and handover protocols.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out execution and sequencing.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for managing trades and reporting progress.
• Meticulous attention to finishing quality and luxury detailing.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and escalate issues effectively.
• Familiar with HSE protocols and authority approvals for interior works.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
