We are hiring Site Engineers – Structural for high-rise building project in Abu Dhabi

Role Purpose Reporting to the Construction Manager/ Project Manager, the Site Engineer is responsible for ensuring that works are being carried out in accordance with the drawings and specification as per contract requirements and company’s Quality Management and HSE procedures, in line with the project programme.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily on-site activities for RC frames (foundations, columns, beams, slabs) and blockwork to ensure they adhere to approved drawings and specifications.

Undertake site setting out, levelling, and surveying using total stations or dumpy levels to establish accurate vertical and horizontal controls.

Structural Quality Control: Inspect formwork (alignment, tightness), reinforcement placement (lapping, cover), and concrete casting (slump tests, vibration) to ensure structural integrity. Supervise blockwork construction, checking vertical alignment using a plumb-bob and ensuring proper mortar mix, bonding, and lintel placement.

Identify design conflicts or site issues and provide immediate, practical technical solutions. Maintain accurate site diaries, daily progress reports (DPR), pour cards, and material usage logs.

Enforce strict health and safety protocols (PPE usage, formwork safety) to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
