Site Inspector Civil Structural Material Landscape

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to verify works are executed in accordance with contract specifications and approved drawings
• Inspect installation of irrigation systems, soft landscaping, hard landscaping, and associated site works
• Inspect temporary and permanent signage, delineation, and mechanical equipment installations
• Monitor building and facility construction activities and related site development works
• Maintain site files, quantity records, and detailed daily inspection diaries
• Prepare daily reports and contractual documentation as required
• Verify that only approved materials are incorporated into the works
• Perform labor compliance interviews and maintain updated as-built records
• Identify potential conflicts, issues, or construction problems and report to supervisors with recommended solutions
• Collect, review, and file certificates of compliance, material safety data sheets, inspection tags, and material documentation
• Provide technical guidance to junior inspectors where required
• Coordinate subconsultant activities for surveying and material testing
• Participate in development of job safety practices, safety reports, and quality control procedures
• Verify installed quantities to support payment applications and change order assessments
• Respond to site emergencies and call-backs when required
• Carry out additional inspection and supervision duties as assigned

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Engineering with specialization in Civil, Structural, Landscape, Irrigation, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure, materials, landscape, and irrigation works
• Strong knowledge of construction inspection procedures and quality control requirements
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary supervision teams
