Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of sustainable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces, ensuring projects meet client needs and environmental standards.
  • Prepare detailed site plans, construction documents, and specifications using CAD software and other design tools, visualizing concepts effectively.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct site analysis, including evaluating existing conditions, assessing environmental impacts, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Oversee the selection of plant materials, hardscape elements, and other landscape features, considering factors like climate, soil conditions, and design intent.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to integrate landscape designs seamlessly into the overall project.
  • Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design concepts and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with local zoning regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines throughout the design and construction process.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university, demonstrating a strong academic foundation.
  • Holds a valid Landscape Architect license, showcasing professional qualifications and adherence to industry standards.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in AutoCAD, Land F/X, and other relevant design software, enabling efficient and accurate plan development.
  • Displays strong project management skills, including the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
