In UAE, Siemens Mobility is delivering the signaling, telecom, and power supply systems for the 303 km Abu Dhabi-Sohar railway, which marks the first cross-country railway network in the Middle East, connecting the UAE and Oman.
Today, we are recruiting for a Site Quality Engineer to join our team in UAE. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What are my responsibilities?
- Oversee site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations
- Prepare and manage quality documentation (ITPs, checklists, reports)
- Conduct inspections and audits to identify issues and ensure quality compliance
- Review installations, materials, and test results for accuracy and standards adherence
- Support installation and commissioning teams with method statements and quality requirements
- Track non-conformities and punch items and ensure timely resolution
- Analyze and report quality performance (KPIs, NCRs, audits)
- Coordinate with teams, contractors, and clients on quality matters
- Implement QMS and ISO 9001 standards and support internal audits
- Drive continuous improvement and deliver quality training
Desired Candidate Profile
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering
- 3 5 years experience in railway signaling or similar projects
- Knowledge of railway systems, safety standards, and ISO 9001:2015
- ISO 9001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification (required)
- Familiarity with quality tools and problem-solving methods (Six Sigma is a plus)
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read technical drawings and manage documentation
- Proficiency in computer tools and reporting
- Willingness to travel and work on-site + valid driving license
