Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Skin Care Educator
1. Skin Care Education & Training
- Conduct skincare education sessions, product training, and workshops.
- Demonstrate proper skincare techniques and treatment protocols.
- Train staff on product lines (including Carcadia, Meline), new services, and client consultation methods.
- Provide personalized skin assessments and professional recommendations.
- Develop and support marketing initiatives by creating educational content.
- Stay updated on skincare trends, ingredients, and industry advancements.
2. Salon Management Support
- Assist with daily salon operations and workflow management.
- Ensure service standards, hygiene protocols, and client-care quality are maintained.
- Support staff with scheduling, coordination, and treatment best practices.
- Recommend products and treatments to help improve client results and salon service quality.
- Support profit analysis and scalability initiatives.
3. Distribution & Sales Support (Educator Role)
- Represent skincare products and treatment systems as part of distribution support.
- Provide product knowledge and training to partners, salons, and clinics.
- Assist with sales activities including client consultations, product presentations, and follow-ups.
- Support management with product distribution, stock coordination, and business development tasks.
Desired Candidate Profile
Location:
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Education & Certification:
Certified in skincare, aesthetics, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in salon management.
Skilled in skincare education and training (Carcadia, Meline, or similar advanced lines).
Experience in distribution, sales support, or management support is an advantage.
Previous experience training salons or distributors is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to explain complex topics in a simple, engaging manner.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Confident public speaker and trainer.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
Creative mindset for producing educational content.
Technical Skills:
Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Email, Presentations).
Ability to create training materials or simple social media content.
Familiarity with booking systems or salon management software (optional).
Language:
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
Flexibility & Mobility:
Flexible to work across the Aliya Cosmetic Group.
Willingness to travel for training, with accommodation, food, and transport provided.
Preferred Attributes:
Knowledge of laser, chemical peels, or advanced facial treatments.
Experience working with dermatologists, clinics, or medical-grade skincare.
Strong sales or customer service background.
Ability to conduct webinars or online training sessions.
