Sleep Therapy Responsibilities:

• Conduct overnight polysomnography (PSG) and home sleep studies (HSAT).
• Set up and monitor CPAP/BiPAP equipment for titration and trials.
• Assist with scoring and interpretation of sleep studies per AASM guidelines.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and equipment usage.
• Monitor patients during studies and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and calibrate sleep lab equipment.
• Document and report sleep study results promptly.
• Provide follow-up support for CPAP/BiPAP therapy and mask fitting.

Respiratory Therapy Responsibilities:

• Perform lung function tests (spirometry, peak flow, ABG sampling).
• Administer therapies: nebulization, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor and assess patients with respiratory conditions (asthma, COPD, pneumonia).
• Collaborate with physicians on respiratory care plans.
• Respond to emergency situations (code blue, resuscitation).
• Maintain equipment and ensure infection control.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and medication use.
