Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and configure smart home systems, including lighting, climate control, audio-visual, and security integration.
- Install, program, and test smart devices and control systems (e.g., KNX, Control4, Crestron, Fibaro, Loxone, or similar).
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in automation systems.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure proper system integration.
- Provide technical support, training, and documentation for end-users.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in smart home automation and IoT.
- Conduct site visits to assess system requirements and provide recommendations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure system scalability and stability.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Proven experience (4 6 years) in smart home automation or IoT system integration.
- Strong knowledge of protocols such as KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Modbus, MQTT, or BACnet.
- Experience with control platforms like Control4, Crestron, Lutron, or similar.
- Proficiency in network setup, configuration, and troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, routers, switches, IP addressing).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
