Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand objectives and campaign goals.
  • Identify target audiences, content pillars, and platform-specific approaches to maximize engagement and growth.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure the brand remains relevant.

Content Development & Management

  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content (copy, visuals, video, stories, reels, etc.) tailored to each platform.
  • Collaborate with creative, design, and content teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels.
  • Manage the social media content calendar to ensure timely posting aligned with campaigns and events.
  • Write or review captions, hashtags, and tone to ensure messaging accuracy and engagement effectiveness.

Community Management

  • Oversee daily community engagement across platforms responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Foster meaningful online conversations and manage brand reputation.
  • Monitor and manage potential crises or negative feedback professionally.

Performance & Analytics

  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers, conversions, etc.).
  • Use insights to optimize content strategies and improve overall performance.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and recommendations for internal teams or clients.

Paid Social & Campaign Support

  • Manage or coordinate paid social media campaigns across Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Snapchat, and other platforms.
  • Work closely with performance marketing teams to align organic and paid efforts.
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance data and audience insights.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, PR, creative, and performance teams to ensure cohesive storytelling.
  • Manage and mentor junior social media executives or content specialists.
  • Support influencer collaborations and partnerships where relevant.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of professional experience in social media management within an agency environment. Prior agency experience is a must.
  • Proven track record of managing and growing social media accounts for established brands.
  • Deep understanding of major platforms Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X including algorithms, trends, and content best practices.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, Later, Sprinklr, etc.).
  • Strong copywriting, visual storytelling, and creative direction skills.
  • Familiarity with paid social, influencer marketing, and content production workflows.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
