Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of soft services, ensuring seamless service delivery and adherence to established standards.
  • Manage and motivate a team of soft service staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team.
  • Proactively identify and address service gaps, implementing improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, addressing their concerns and exceeding their expectations.
  • Monitor and control operational budgets, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing expenses without compromising service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations, creating a safe and secure environment for staff and clients.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring performance to ensure value for money.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance programs, conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on service performance, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in soft services management within the hospitality or facilities management industry.
  • Exhibits strong knowledge of soft services operations, including housekeeping, security, and reception.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and systems for service management, such as CAFM or CMMS.
  • Displays excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Native or fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
